Towergate Bakers - previously known as Bakers of
Cheltenham - was a family business established in 1969 by John
Baker who developed the very first bespoke insurance product for
residential park homes.
John's son, Paul, continues to play a leading role in the
business, leading marketing and sales.
Towergate Bakers is one of the leading providers of specialist
insurance for park homes, leisure homes, touring caravans, static
holiday caravans and motor caravans, currently looking after
the insurance needs of some 45,000 policyholders throughout the
UK.

It has also established a reputation for high levels of
customer service particularly in relation to claims handling. This
is confirmed by feedback it receives from customers who are asked
to complete a claim satisfaction survey - in 2006
over 90% of respondents rated the service they received as
