The acquisition of a Staffordshire mobile home dealership will
see a caravan company expand into the Midlands, it has been
reported.
According to the Yorkshire Post, the £2.7 million deal will help
to establish a new market territory for Discover Leisure and also
includes 30 staff.

The company commented that it is optimistic about the future,
with the news source adding that it may be immune to a downturn due
to its bias towards the over-50s market.
Chief executive of the group Trevor Parker said that the deal
represents part of the company's future plans.
The official remarked, "This acquisition in the Midlands is in
line with our longer term strategy of being the market leader in
all of the UK's main market areas".
Discover runs sites all over Britain, including Chorley in
Lancashire in the north of England, Wrexham in Wales and
Weston-Super-Mare in Somerset.
