People who vacation at a holiday park in
Bridlington are to appeal a decision to have their holiday homes
demolished, it has been reported.
Bridlington Today has stated that caravan and
chalet owners at South Shore Holiday Park have been told to leave
their homes without compensation after site bosses announced a £50
million overhaul.

But John Waistnage, chairman of the chalet
owners association, told the news source that officials have shown
no consideration for people in the area.
He said, "They have no thought for people who
invest their life savings or retirements funds into a holiday
retreat".
This comes as plans to erect a caravan site at
Cumberland Lodge and Leisure Stables have been announced, according
to the Times & Star.
George Campbell, who owns the land, has opted
to construct a motor home park rather than a four-star hotel as had
been originally planned.
