A caravan park in Skegness has been awarded a
commendation for safety after staff members at the park completed
an industry-specific course.
The Skegness Standard has said that a Safe
Siting Commendation award was presented to the park after eight
members of staff attended a course on health and safety, which
focused on ways to reduce risk.

Since the successful course, the Roman
Bank-based park has invested further in courses on winching and
siting, which could make the whole caravan experience even smoother
for caravan insurance holders.
"It's really all about doing everything safely
and thinking about what you are doing", said Lucy Newbold,
according to the newspaper.
A spokesperson for Caravan Industry Training
said that the park "should be congratulated" for putting the health
and safety of their staff and visitors first.
Earlier this week it was announced in
Blackpool Today that Sunset Park in Hambleton had been shortlisted
for the Enjoy England Awards for Excellence 2008.
