Caravan owners should be looking to get their
caravans insured now the spring has arrived, it has been
reported.
According to the Huddersfield Examiner, people
traditionally get their caravans out of storage at this time
of year in order to get ready for the summer season.
|
However the news source has stated that a £3,000 caravan
was towed from a house in Cumberworth by thieves and a green and
white Elddis motor home was taken from Dewsbury.
It added that owners should make sure they keep their doors and
windows locked whenever they leave their caravans on holiday,
making sure they do not keep the caravan’s documents inside.
This is because possession of such information could make it
easier for thieves to sell the caravan.
Meanwhile, a family from Gloucestershire will be claiming on
their caravan insurance policy after their caravan was gutted by a
blaze, the Forrester has reported.
