A Fylde caravan park is under consideration for a top national
award, it has been reported.
Blackpool Today has stated that the five-star Sunset Park in
Hambleton has been shortlisted for the Enjoy England Awards for
Excellence 2008.

The site is the only Lancashire business to be up for the prize
across all 15 categories, the news source added.
According to Quality VisitEngland chairman Hugh Taylor, only
trailblazers in the industry have been chosen for awards
consideration.
He said, "The finalists have been chosen for leading the way in
terms of innovation through continued investment whilst also
maintaining consistently high quality and standards in their
field".
Blackpool Today commented that the winners will be announced on
April 23rd at a ceremony at St George's Hall in Liverpool.
Sunset Park has added two new theme areas over the last four
years: Meadow Point, a gated area for timber lodges and Green
Meadows, an area of traditional caravans.
