Case study

In March 2008, the south coast of England was hit by the worst storm for ten years and the devastation to caravans at Selsey received wide media coverage.

As soon as we became aware of this, we sent loss adjusters to visit all the static caravan sites insured by us in the area. One of the static caravan owners, Mrs H, suffered flood damage to her metal storage box and all of her contents were destroyed. She met our loss adjusters, who agreed the claim on the spot. The settlement cheque was issued a few days later.
