Frequently asked questions - Static caravan insurance
Here are some of the questions we are often asked. If you can't

Will my caravan be insured for storm damage?
Yes. Our policies provide cover against a
wide range of perils including storm.
Does that include frost?
Yes. Our policies cover you all year round
for frost damage to plumbing installations. We do not, however,
cover water damage following a frost during the winter
months.
Will my caravan still be covered if my son or daughter borrows
it?
Yes. Our policies allow your caravan to be
used by anyone you wish. In fact, if you hire out your caravan, you
will be insured, and you can even extend the policy to cover
malicious damage by hirers.
How much will I have to pay as an excess if I have to
claim?
Nothing at all for most clients – although
there are a few occasions when an excess may be applied for risks
in flood areas, for example. If you are affected by this, we will
of course inform you when you get a quote or arrange cover.
What am I likely to receive if my caravan is damaged beyond
repair?
If you have chosen 'new for old' cover and
your sum insured is enough to pay for it, we will replace your
caravan with its brand new equivalent and any associated costs for
site clearance, delivery and re-siting. If you chose 'market value'
cover, we will pay you the value of your caravan immediately before
it was damaged to include the cost of site clearance.
